About ‘Cyber Shakti’ - Cyber Hygiene Program for Women

Cyber hygiene is a necessity for a safe and secure lifestyle. Learning how to protect our devices and information from falling prey to malicious intruders has become imperative, especially for the young girls and women who usually find themselves in soft spot, while they least expect it while using online resources and connecting with others on internet. The ‘Cyber Shakti’ or the Cyber Hygiene Program for Women serves as a guide to women in gaining information on some common cyber offences and ways to protect themselves.

The ‘Cyber Shakti’ or the Cyber Hygiene Program for Women is designed under ISEA Program, is envisaged to create awareness in current security-related aspects for women stakeholders among Digital Naagrik or Citizens. It aims to reinforce cyber hygiene, cyber security, and privacy.

• Role-based Cyber Aware progression pathways are tailored the learning experience to the specific needs and roles of the learners.
• The course allows learners to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their specific cybersecurity roles.
• The Cyber Woman program plays a crucial role in empowering young girls and women to become responsible digital citizens, promoting a safe and positive online experience.
• The Cyber woman course enables the young girls and woman to move on to next level in progression pathway. It gives them opportunity to move on to higher education programs like B.Tech, M.Tech, PhD, non formal and advanced skill training courses, CISO certification courses and reach cyber commando level in cyber security domain as per the criteria specified by the respective institutions/ courses.
• Roles based Cyber Security Awareness and progression pathways for Women – “Cyber Aware Women or Cyber Shakti“ certification

To recognize the efforts of the users and appreciate the interest shown by them in diligently learning the cyber security concepts presented in the portal, the top performers will be presented with the following awards and rewards by ISEA.

• Participants in the course will undergo ongoing evaluation based on the accumulation of reward points earned in lesson-specific activities, module assessments, and their performance in regularly held competitions.
• The names of outstanding achievers at the district, state, and national levels will be regularly featured on the homepage of the portal.
• Recognitions for top performers, including certificates and ISEA merchandise, will be awarded annually.
• Periodic competitions will be organized for all users through the Cyber Woman portal, and winners will receive awards and rewards from ISEA.
